OLD BUSINESS

Jennings Field

Kim Wright, an adjacent property owner to the park expressed concerns about the installation of a goal post for the Zionsville Youth Football League (ZYFL) so close to her property line. She explained that numerous lacrosse balls and players retrieving the balls came on her property during the lacrosse season and was concerned that the same would happen with ZYFL. Rusty Denton, ZYFL President stated that very few field goals are attempted in youth football. He also stated that the ZYFL will work with the Wrights to keep players off of their property. The Department is coordinating an effort with the Wrights, Zionsville Lacrosse Club. ZYFL, and Zionsville Community Schools to install a fence near the Wright’s property line. The fence will be very helpful in stopping balls from entering the Wright’s property.
