THE ZIONSVILLE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD
March 12, 2003
The Zionsville Board of Park and Recreation met Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. All Board members were present. Roger Burrus, Board Counsel and Al Smith, Park Superintendent were also present.
Art Small moved to approve the February minutes. Seconded and passage was unanimous.
Superintendent’s Report
Al Smith reported that sign up for the 2003 Garden Plot Program will begin on 3/13/03 at Zionsville Town Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Al Smith presented two proposals for the 2003 mowing season. Based on cost and years of service, he recommended accepting the proposal from Hardin & Sons.
Art Small moved to accept the mowing proposal from Hardin & Sons. Seconded and passage was unanimous.
Tim East reported that the Zion Nature Sanctuary project is underway and ahead of schedule.
OLD BUSINESS
Bradley Property – Public Input on New Park

Art Small moved the Board approve the claims submitted. Seconded and passage was unanimous.
The next Park Board meeting will be April 9, 2003.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
