Pathways Master Plan

Below is a small viewing of our current Master Plan. For larger viewing, try the links.

It might be many years before the pathways shown in this plan come into being. Also, whereas some of the funding for these pathways comes from the Town of Zionsville, most of it comes from private donations.

Click Here for a list of the projects planned to be completed during the next few years.

Parks Department's Pathways

The Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department also has plans in progress for pathways in the Zionsville community (also shown in the map below).

The aspect of these pathways, however, is more toward nature and recreation rather than alternate transportation.

To help with the understanding of the total Zionsville pathway system, a listing of the Parks Department's plans can be viewed here.

Indiana DOT

The Indiana Department of Transportation also has pathway projects within the Zionsville community (also shown in the map above)...basically two:

One project, almost completed, is sidewalks along SR 334 as it passes through our village from Boone Village all the way past Lion's Park and to include a new bridge over Eagle Creek.

The second project is sidewalks along US 421 (Michigan Road) basically from I-465 all the way to CR 300S.
